Nadja Zwiener baroque violin

Nadja Zwiener is leader of the English Concert among other groups and recent engagements include Handel’s Giulio Cesare at Glyndebourne and in the BBC Proms, as well as Vivaldi’s Women for BBC Four.  Nadja has worked with Simon Rattle, William Christie, Trevor Pinnock, John Eliot Gardiner and Emmanuelle Haim.  Of particular interest and inspiration to Nadja is her work with singers.  For the future there are plans for concerts combining early and contemporary music as well as projects incorporating contemporary dance and experimental/improvisational music.

Nadja performs works for solo violin at Notre Dame du Rosaire, Burnt Lane, St Peter Port on Tuesday 21 September at 6.00pm in the CISX Baroque Recital.  Duration: one hour.
